The Wega SENSE thickness gauge is an advanced micrometric wheel instrument, designed to accurately measure leather thickness, especially wet blue/white, up to 5/100 mm.
Easily integrated into various stackers or conveyor belts, it is ideal for checking leather quality at different points in the processing workflow. Particularly useful after using shaving or splitting machines, its computerized system with specialized software automatically detects thickness anomalies.
This functionality allows for selecting leathers based on predetermined parameters, reducing labor requirements and improving the efficiency of the selection process.
Wega SENSE can be easily coupled in combination with the Wega REFLEX bar to have a complete system for measuring area and thickness directly in the production line.

Sense Lime
The Sense Lime version is designed to integrate directly on the splitting machine’s extraction belt, requiring minimal space. It is equipped with a double row of steel discs that allows for reduced contamination of the measuring wheels due to tripe leather transit.

Wega INFINITY is the new HMI (Human Machine Interface) system that allows easy and integrated access to all machine functionalities, alarm history and all production data collected for each processed batch. It is optionally possible to access Wega Infinity also via tablet in order to view measurement data in real time from mobile devices.
