CO2 Laser leather marking
Traceability has become a central element in the tanning process because product identification and mapping allow quality and value certification.
Wega Tattoo is the only laser marker designed for the tanning environment, which is notoriously difficult and aggressive.
The technology has been developed in different models based on the required laser power (30/60/120W) and can be applied to all types of leather raw/wet/crust/finished.
The device can be integrated into any line to permanently and uniquely mark each hide.
The software integrated in the Infinity operator interface allows control of marking speed and depth. Infinity can also receive the code to be marked directly from the customer’s MES for each hide, and then return all area and thickness measurement data associated with it.
Through Wega Tattoo it is possible to mark a unique code even on moving leather and it will remain unchanged throughout the entire production process from wet leather to finishing, even in case of heavy embossing.
The code is fully customizable through the operator interface and it is possible to include the customer logo in a QR code or Data Matrix.
Finally, all fumes produced during the marking process are completely aspirated and eliminated by the integrated aspiration and filtration system.
