WEGA HOMIRO LINE is an automatic inspection machine that ombines a series of high-resolution cameras with a robust machine frame and an advanced lighting setup specifically designed to capture and highlight the relevant characteristics of the leather.
This enables the reliable identification of both small, localized defects, such as insect bites or contaminations, and larger or more diffuse irregularities, such as scars and veins. The combination of high-performance camera technology and advanced lighting provides consistent image acquisition across the leather surface, supporting reliable inspection even for defects whose visibility can vary depending on their orientation and surface characteristics.
The machine is equipped with an integrated industrial PC, 22” LCD touchscreen display, advanced connectivity, and a vision system implemented by HOMIRO and it’s a powerful 4.0 solution for the automated inspection of leather, powered by state of art in terms of AI models. Its modular design allows flexible adaptation to different processes and material widths, while enabling fast scanning of hides.
Wega HOMIRO Line can be supplied as a stand-alone machine or can be easily integrated into any type of existing production line, even in combination with measurement or identification systems.
